Future EU structural and cohesion policy turn three priorty goals: convergence, regional capacity to meet competition  and employment, and european economical cooperation.

When it comes to invest in a country such as Romania it is necessary to be informed about the available subsidies, about all the official bodies and the attempt to get as much possible subsidies for our investment project - implantation in Romania.

Each body has its requirements when it comes to be „eligible" for the correspondent subsidy.

There are business travel subsidies in Romania. There are subsidies for opening an office in Romania ... etc. ... etc.

2007-2013 STRUCTURAL FUNDS In ROMANIA

Following the Commission’s affirmative response to the Romania’s and Bulgaria’s accession to the EU in September, without any further delays, on January 1st 2007 was completed the broadest enlargement in the history of  the European Union, which now counts 27 Member States.

Convergence towards the EU is the paramount objective of Romania in terms of economic development. The first 16 contracts granting non-repayable structural funds of more than RON 3.2 million to micro-enterprises located in central Romania were sealed on March 18 at the Regional Development Agency (ADR) – Center in Alba Iulia.

EC to invest EUR 8.633 billion in Romania in green economy in 2007-2013 The European Commission (EC) on February 9 announced that it would invest EUR 105 billion in the “green economy”, as part of the cohesion policy of the European Union over 2007-2013, of which EUR 8.633 billion will be allotted to Romania.
